O Scale Electronic Coil Couplers

These die-cast scale coil couplers are 100% compatible with Kadee® O scale couplers. Each coupler, sold separately, comes with it's own draft gear box, self centering spring and wiring harness. These die-cast couplers are sensational! With the press of a button on the Cab-1 remote the coil coupler will open anywhere on your layout without the use of a magnet. The coupler closes again when it is coupled to another car or locomotive. Designed specifically for use use with all O scale Kadee® compatible couplers. When the knuckle opens it literally pushes the adjoining knuckle out of its grasp. You have to see these couplers to believe them! Scale coil couplers in conjunction with Scale Command will give you unparalleled performance!

No more stopping the train right on the magnet, backing up, pulling forward, backing up again. Just the press of a button from your wireless hand held remote and viola! the train is uncoupled. Each coupler comes complete with plastic coupler pocket, mounting screws, centering springs and electronic coil coupler with 8" leads.

These coil couplers require a 12 Volt charge for 5 microseconds to open properly, if your DCC decoder can produce this required voltage, go for it! All of our upgrade boards are 100% compatible with these coil couplers.
