Our 8 & 15 Amp Drivers are designed as simple command only conversions for both steam and diesel locomotives. Their small size make them ideal for conversions where space is a premium. Each 8 and 15 Amp Driver is 100% compatible with Railsounds 4.0 (using a separate Railsounds motherboard, a link is provided at the bottom of the page). The biggest assest of the 8 & 15 Amp Driver is its small size, which allows you to add command with or without Railsounds to locomotives that cannot accomodate a SAW board. Each 8 & 15 Amp Driver features;

An 8 Amp Driver is capable of handling up to 3 DC motors of any size (Mabuchi, Pittman, NWSL, Machima, Faulhaber, etc). The 15 Amp Driver is designed to handle up to 6 DC motors of any size which is ideal for older US Hobbies F unit ABA sets.
Each 8 and 15 Amp Driver includes everything necessary to complete an installation with ease. If you want to add Railsounds now, or later each 8 & 15 Amp Driver is 100% compatible with the Railsounds 4.0 upgrade kits listed below.

The Scale Command Railsounds upgrade kit is designed to be used in conjunction with a Scale Command DC Driver. The Railsounds upgrade kit simply connects to the DC driver using a wire harness with 2 plugs. Each Scale Command Railsounds upgrade kit features;
