Train America Studios is an Ohio corporation that designs and manufactures electronics for both scale and toy trains. Since our beginning in 1998 we have grown to be the industry leader in aftermarket on board command control conversions. In fact, TAStudios is also responsible for supplying several 2 and 3 rail manufactures with on board command control electronics. Our primary goal is to provide you, the customer, with the largest selection of high quality electronics available today. Along with that same goal is our dedication to being the leader in Command Control technology. As you will see throughout our website we offer the most extensive line of command control retrofits available on the market today. From a simple Scale Command installation to an extensive locomotive upgrade project we offer everything you could possibly need.

We not only manufacture our own line of command control conversions, we also manufacture items designed to enhance both the look and performance of your locomotives and rolling stock. With products such as our fan driven Turbo Smoke units, Power Inverters, Signal Enhancers and constant volatge lighting upgrades we can offer you the widest selection of upgrade options. Other products such as our accessory devices allow you to take your layout to a whole new level of operating realism by allowing you to animate scale accessories such as a turntable. We also manufacture our own line of switch motors similar to the Switchmaster™ switch machines, which we market under the Torquemaster name. Our team has over 20 years of combined experience with the Lionel Trainmaster Command Control system and on board electronics (remember, this is our full time job!). Our extensive knowledge of the Trainmaster system is an invaluable resource for our customers. Why? because there is nothing you will encounter that we don't have a solution for.
