Using the keypads on the Cab-1 press the following;

ENG + ## + AUX1 + (See table below)

1 Volume Up
2 Crew Talk (Inaudable radio chatter)
3 Ramp up for diesels
Air release for steam
(Start up after shutting down using #5)
4 Volume Down
5 Shut Down
6 Ramp down for diesels
Steam blowdown for steam
7 Tower Com
8 Smoke/strobe off
9 Smoke/strobe on
0 Reset to forward at 0 volts

    Additional Sound Features included in Railsounds 4.0

  • Squealing Brakes

  • Coupler Firing Sounds

  • Horn

  • Bell

  • Diesel Engine Roar (3-4 speed steps)

  • Steam Chuff

  • Appropriate idle sounds for both steam and diesel
