Installation Rates
If you are uncomfortable installing any of our products we will gladly do the installation for you. Below you will find a rate chart of charges for various installtions. In the event you should try to install our circuits yourself and get stuck, don't panic, simply send the engine in and we'll complete the installation for you. Should you have any questions, please contact us.
Every installation is thoroughly tested before it leaves our facility. We offer professional quality installations at a more than reasonable price. If you have never purchased one of our upgrades before, we suggest you have us install one as an example for you to reference in the future. Each installation is thoroughly tested on our 12' x 16' test layout. Your locomotive is tested throughout the installation process and thoroughly tested before being signed off on by one of our serior technicians. Please keep in mind that return shipping will be charged on all installtions. This is very hard to calculate because of weight, insurance value and distance. We do not tack on additional money to shipping, we charge the actual shipping rate. Please include the value you would like the engine insured for when it is returned to you. All of our locomotive shipments go DHL ground, insured in the continental United States and US Mail for Canada and Overseas.
Please be sure to package your locomotive properly to ensure a safe journey. Make certain the locomotive does not rattle inside the original carton, use whatever means necessary to ensure the locomotive is secure inside the carton.
All shipments are picked up by DHL on Friday afternoon. This means that their tracking numbers are not active until Monday morning.
