Dummy Board
The Dummy Board is designed for use in rolling stock and non-powered dummy units. The Dummy Board is a Command Control upgrade without a motor driver circuit. It is assigned an Engine ID number and can be used to control directional lighting, front and rear coil couplers, smoke unit/strobe light on/off and Railsounds 4.0. The tiny size of the Dummy Board (1 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" long x 1/2" tall) allows you to install it in virtually anything with pickup rollers!
The Dummy Board can be used in conjunction with an 8 or 15 Amp Driver, where the Driver installs into a powered A unit to control the motors, front light and front coupler. The Dummy Board installs into the dummy A unit and controls the rear light and coupler. This is great because it eliminates any tether that would ordinarilly be required. Especially for Postwar Lionel F-3's where there is not enough room in the powered A unit to add Railsounds. The Dummy Board can control the Railsounds from the dummy A unit as well. There are several uses for a Dummy Board if you just put your imagination to work.
Each Dummy Board features;
Constant voltage directional lighting (12 VAC)
Smoke unit/strobe light on/off control
Front and rear coil coupler control (couplers sold separately)
Railsounds 4.0 serial lead (for controlling Railsounds 4.0 features) (also controls Railsounds 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 5.0!)
All necessary installation hardware (i.e. double sided tape, antenna and program/run switch with hardware)
