Protosounds 2.0 Upgrades

TAStudios is happy to announce that we will now be offering Protosounds 2.0 upgrades for all 2-rail and 3-rail locomotive models and very soon large scale locomotives as well.

Currently, to perform a Protosounds 2.0 conversion the locomotive must be equipped with can motors that have flywheels. TAStudios, in conjunction with Timko's Train Repair is able to add a flywheel to most applications to allow for the conversion of virtually any locomotive (with a can motor). We are also investigating the possibilities of adapting Protosounds 2.0 boards for use with open frame AC motors as well. Soon, we will have the components required to convert virtually any locomotive ever made. Stay tuned for more information on converting AC motors to operate with Proto 2.0 in the near future!
