The newest addition to our line of Engineer On Board cruise control products. The EOB Drop In board is designed to add all the great features of EOB to Lionel, K-Line, early 3rd Rail, early Weaver and some specific Atlas O locomotives without changing the existing wiring architecture. The EOB Drop In board is designed to "drop" into all locomotives that use the Lionel modular TMCC electronic wiring architecture (replacing the Lionel DCDR (DC motor driver), ACDR (AC motor driver) or DCDS (Odyssey motor driver)). The EOB Drop In has been designed to install with very little wiring. In fact it uses the same connectors as the locomotive you install it into.

The EOB Drop In board allows you to retain your Lionel Infrared Tethers in all steam locomotive applications

The EOB Drop In Board has the same exact dimensions as the current motor driver board in your locomotive. In fact the Drop In Board uses the factory installed heat sink to mount in place. The installation of this board is very simple and comes complete with comprehensive installation instructions, a new 4-position Molex power connector (for use with Odyssey equipped locomotives that currently have a 6-position Molex connector). A new flywheel sensor board with striped tape for the motor is also included.

The EOB Drop In Board is ideal for the smaller locomotives that our larger EOB boards will not fit in. Locomotives such as the Lionel scale Atlantic's, Scale Consolidated with and without Vanderbilt tenders. Smaller diesels with smoke units such as the Lionel GP-30, K-Line RS-3 and so forth. The Drop In Board gives you all the benefits and features of EOB and allows you to retain the smoke units too!

We are certain that the EOB Drop In Board will solve all your cruise control needs regardless of the manufacturers locomotive you install it into.

Each EOB Drop In Board kit contains

• EOB Drop In Board
• New 4-Position Molex power connector
• New flywheel sensor board with striped tape strips
• Comprehensive installation instructions

Each EOB Drop In Board includes the following features

• 32 speed step mode with cruise control
• 128 speed step mode with cruise control
• 32 speed step mode with cruise off (for lash up compatibility with non cruise equipped locomotives)
• Selectable 1, 2 or 4 chuff per revolution chuff modes (from the remote without touching the locomotive)

All the benefits of EOB exist in the EOB Drop In Board; the smooth take off, ease of lash up operation, selectable chuff rates and easy speed step selection from the Cab-1. The only drawback of the EOB Drop In Board is that it does not provide cruise control for conventional operation. It will run in conventional mode, but it does not include a cruise option in this mode of operation.
